Our team consists of hybrid creative minds, with a fluid approach allowing us to flex across a multitude of platforms and disciplines from; campaigns, events, production, branding, activations and reporting on culture. Digi Fairy x Delivery

Spanning all projects across the business, the Delivery team at The Digital Fairy enable our research, strategy, creative, talent and production projects to come to life through a dedicated end-to-end approach that focuses on collaboration & consultation between our clients, internal team of experts and next -gen audiences directly. The Delivery team consists of our internal Production, Project Management and Operations specialists who have a wealth of diverse experience designing and executing multi-platform innovative and complex projects. Our Delivery team also curates and manages our evolving network of collaborators (designers, content creators, photographers, videographers, directors etc.) to produce content that has a tangible impact for our clients and their target audiences.

 

The role x you
To be successful in this role you will have strong experience working in commercial production, and will be adept at producing content and campaigns at all levels from product shoots to large scale campaigns and even long form video / documentary formats. As we enter an exciting period of growth across the business, our Supervising Producer will act as a role model for the rest of the delivery team, producing the most complex and high-value projects, acting as the right-hand to the Creative Director to ensure the creative vision is brought to life to the highest possible standard.

 

You will be sharp, proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to look at any brief and see the creative opportunity in it. You will be flexible, able to improvise and provide solutions to challenges, to be successful at this role a “yes and how” mindset will be key, in addition to the ability to engage and collaborate successfully with both external partners and our internal team, you will be the advocate of delivering our projects on time and on budget. You will be confident interrogating the brief and ensuring that the creative solution speaks to the KPIs, checking in as the project progresses, expertly managing the production lifecycle from scope to delivery.

 

As well as having a diverse and interesting scope of production knowledge and experience, we are looking for someone who is deeply in tune with the audience, cultures and communities we engage and represent. Who will use that cultural awareness to drive service innovation and creative thinking across the production team.

Responsibilities

Leadership:

  • You will report into the Operations Director and will manage the Creative Producer (in addition to any freelance producers). You work closely with the Associate Director, Projects and the Digital Project Manager to oversee, and coordinate multiple client projects across the division from inception of ideas to delivery. You will also work closely with the Creative Director to bring campaigns/content to life, continually evolving and elevating creative standards.
  • Actively contribute towards strategic discussions, including the development and implementation of the studio’s vision and suggesting service innovation and identity opportunities and help to grow revenue.
  • Review and audit our ways of working in order to implement improvements into the delivery process and team. Creating or updating processes and documentation needed to support a production. You will push to improve the output through execution and craft.
  • Contribute effectively to the business OKRs through team and personal development, project approach and effective delivery.
  • Improve our output by working collaboratively with the other departments within the business, seeking input or insight that will strengthen the content e.g. talent suggestions or content strategy.
  • Ensure the effective management and running of our in-house studio which focuses on product shoots.
  • Provide a POV on costing within the department, changes to our scoping approach and ideation of service productisation.


Team management:

  • Provide dynamic leadership for the Creative Producer, acting as both a mentor and department lead.
  • Ensuring you are nurturing and developing the team through consistent 121s as well as identifying and implementing any suggested training and development, taking responsibility for the team, alongside the Operations Director.
  • You will have an extensive network of contacts to bring on board our projects, ensuring we always have a diverse lens on our content output to reflect our brand values.
  • Have regular portfolio meetings and keep the team accountable for doing portfolio meets and sharing any exciting new creatives/collaborators with the business.


Individual contribution:

  • You will be responsible for creating a full production schedule, tracking and budget management in conjunction with the project manager and others as required by the project.
  • You will track scope creep, handling any new associated costs and issuing any change orders to SOWs where needed.
  • You will be confident interacting with senior clients/stakeholders on a daily basis and handle all communication with external producers + production companies
  • Be comfortable owning and/or assisting in the post-production process, working directly with third party partners.
  • Lead your project wash-ups, making sure to provide learnings that are concrete and constructive.
  • Be a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for the studio and our work, reflecting the Digi brand values and principles externally at relevant industry events and panels to maximise visibility of the delivery team and to grow our network of potential collaborators and clients.
  • Ensure fair pay for all of our talent and have an understanding of APA rates.
  • Weekly finance reporting of your projects to the CEO, Ops Director and Management Accountant. You will be responsible for retaining revenue phasing and mitigating risk to business through close reporting and managing up any issues, with a suggested solution to retain fees and reduce overburn.

What We Are Looking For

  • You are an agency Supervising/Exec Producer, with experience delivering a wide range of production projects and varying budget levels for brands and partners.
  • You have experience working across ATL and BTL on digital first campaigns - either in-house or in collaboration with production partners, with a thorough understanding of the entire production process.
  • You will be a talented and experienced producer who is creative, with visual flair, fully understanding compliance issues, while being a calm, organised and solutions-orientated force within the business.
  • You are an articulate and clear communicator.
  • You will help producers establish a transparent communication channel with each client, creating a climate of mutual trust and increasing opportunities to grow and retain business from our key clients.
  • You will be supported by the Project Management team, however on occasion you may be required to manage your own client relationships and projects.
  • You will lead, motivate and support a team (both internal and external), ensuring that the creative vision is communicated and understood from planning through to delivery.
  • You will keep up to date with emerging industry trends and platforms.
  • Where relevant, you will liaise with legal and compliance counsel to ensure content produced is compliant and adheres to H+S procedures, all parties are contracted, insurers are notified and any other legal considerations are taken into account.
  • You will develop and manage positive working relationships with staff, contributors and talent, and be able to give constructive feedback.
  • You will have an agile and flexible approach to meet creative needs and client asks.
  • You will be analytically minded, curious to seek out the data required to inform your decisions and applying critical thinking in your day to day.
  • You may have experience setting up international production, shooting abroad and/or working with local production facilitators on the ground is essential.
  • You will have experience of managing procurement processes in a cost-effective way.
  • You will have a strong knowledge of wider marketing trends, with a nuanced understanding of next-gen and digital culture and get how our clients can connect to trends and industry movements. You keep ahead of digital trends across platforms, as well as an understanding with what engages and performs.
  • You are not afraid to be forthcoming with feedback, opinions and ideas that have the potential to push the work further.
