THE ROLE x YOU
We’re looking for a Strategic Growth Partner, a hybrid thinker who loves strategy, storytelling and business development in equal parts. You are a cultural strategist at heart, but with a commercial edge. You can think deeply and provocatively about brands, while also spotting and converting opportunities for creative impact and long-term legacy and growth.
This role is a blend of strategic leadership, partnership development and client intimacy.
You’ll be deeply collaborative, working alongside our Strat Director to evolve our services and push the creative ambition of our output. You will have the ability to motivate and inspire the wider agency team to approach everything with a strategic mindset, ensuring our work is underpinned by unique insight and rationale.
You will be entrepreneurial, decisive and proficient at both selling in and delivering across a wide variety of services. You will have a strong network of client contacts, advisors and suppliers and will tap into them to support the business in expanding the existing network, enabling new opportunities for commercial and strategic collaboration. You will build trust with senior clients, and lead conversations that result in innovative, interesting and effective work. You’ll be a trusted face of the agency - getting close to shape narratives, design solutions and ensure our thinking is visible and distinctive in the market. You will bring energy and ideas into how we show up as an agency - whether that’s through decks, campaigns, reports or cultural thought-leadership.
Growth and New Business.
- Lead and support new business efforts in collaboration with our Founder and our client growth team - proactively identifying and converting opportunities.
- Build and nurture senior client relationships, becoming a trusted partner who can grow accounts organically through insight and opportunity mapping.
- Own the strategic storytelling across pitches and proposals - translating our offer into ideas and narratives that excite and convert.
- Lead a regular flow of proactive meetings (approx 4 per week) - a mix of new leads, past clients, and relationships developed through your network.
- Translate cultural and category shifts into provocations and thought-starters that open commercial conversations.
- Lead client status meetings where we track priorities and tasks across the team.
Strategic and Creative Collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with our Strategy Director to raise the bar for strategic standards, developing thinking that underpins culturally sharp and creatively ambitious work.
- Support the evolution of The Digital Fairy’s strategic proposition, services and IP - shaping how we articulate and productise our strategic offer.
- Take on select strategic leadership across client work - particularly where it intersects with brand positioning, cultural insight or content-led growth.
- Build narratives and frameworks that help clients better understand the cultural and commercial role their brand can play.
Internal and Industry Influence.
- Act as a vocal and visible ambassador for our strategic and cultural POV - representing The Digital Fairy at events, in media and through original thought-leadership.
- Contribute to the development of decks, reports, campaigns and internal rituals that drive strategic thinking and market visibility.
- Mentor strategists, junior team members and freelancers - supporting the development of both people and process.
- Collaborate with the Founder, Creative Director, Talent Lead and Strategy Director to shape the agency’s positioning and go-to-market activity.
