What we're looking for

The Digital Fairy is a full-service creative marketing studio working for brands within the fashion, lifestyle, and beauty industries, connecting them to youth and digital culture. Our Digital Marketing department Fairy Networks delivers creative and innovative amplification methods for brands, through organic, paid and influencer campaigns, typically reaching youth audiences. We have built credibility with clients including adidas, LauraMercier, Schwarzkopf, Nike, Estee Lauder Companies, Converse and Dove. Digi is a playground for innovation, we are given briefs to drive excitement as well as engagement. No project or challenge is the same - this keeps things interesting! 

We are looking for an ambitious Digital and Influencer Exec to work across a number of digital and influencer campaigns. This role sits at the core of the Fairy Networks division who are responsible for the agency’s communication and amplification work and reports into the Digital and Influencer Manager. 

Like us, you’re obsessed with all things social media and popular culture. You’ll have an informed understanding of – Gen Z/youth culture, digital trends, and the related landscape: celebrities, brands, TV, podcasts, fashion, beauty, music, lifestyle & art. You will know what is trending on different platforms, what the updates are and how we can use this to our clients’ advantage. 

This role will work across a number of different projects so requires flexibility, from contracting duties to managing content, casting suggestions to desk research, creative brainstorming to briefing and admin support such as reporting, you will be able to move between these tasks with ease. 

Responsibilities

General

  • An obsession with social media means you will always be updating the team on trends and platforms 
  • Providing day to day support to the Digital and Influencer Manager including contracting, content filing, writing talent briefs, talent comms, resourcing and costing up projects.
  • Leading client comms for projects with a value of £10k-50k 
  • Overseeing reporting for clients, with the Social and Influencer Exec 
  • Liaising with third parties such as agents, talent reps etc

 

Digital Projects

  • Supporting the Creative Digital Strategist and Digital and Influencer Manager as instructed with campaign planning and roll out 
  • Having a POV on which channels are right considering the brief
  • Feeding into new biz proposals as requested 
  • Owning the Fairy Family social accounts alongside the Social & Influencer Exec. Including content calendar planning, copywriting and consistent posting
  • Ad hoc support with creating & editing video content. Previous experience with this is a plus but not required.

 

Influencer/Casting Projects

  • Casting talent 
  • Desk research into talent 
  • Creating talent briefs/talent proposals
  • Negotiation and contracting
  • Content management for clients 
  • Feeding into new biz proposals as requested 

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience, in a similar role
  • You are someone who has a daily to do list and gets things done
  • Ideally you have experience issuing contracts
  • An obsession with all things social media and popular culture. You are a highly engaged user of social media platforms, with a strong understanding of channel nuances
  • Understanding of the US talent market 
  • Have a good eye for influencers, emerging talent and content creators 
  • You’re a people person, confident talking to talent and enjoy being sociable 
  • You will understand what success looks like in regards to engagement rates
  • You’re an organised self starter 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Preferable knowledge of social management platforms e.g. Buffer, Social Bakers, Sprinklr, Dash Hudson etc
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment & juggling multiple tasks
  • Process driven
  • Hard working and dependable
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
